Broad Street, Bristol, BS1 2EL
St Johns Gate is the only surviving medieval gateway into the main part of town. The seated figures are of Brennus and Belinus who founded Bristol. The archway has seen many royal visitors in its time from Henry VIII in 1486 to Elizabeth I in 1574.
